4 Best Nicholas Sparks Books

Nobody narrates a love story as Nicholas Sparks does! Whether it’s about first romances, long-lost lovers, or the ones hoping for a second chance, his stories never fail to move us and make us cry. Set in beautiful North Carolina, Sparks’ novels are all about people of every age and class. His stories don’t shy away from loneliness, despair, or tragedy, but always hope shines through. Here are the four books that are my favorite amongst the best Nicholas Sparks books.

The Notebook
This is an epic story of love lost and found, two star-crossed kids, meeting one summer in New Bern, North Carolina on the beach. A decade passes over before Noah Calhoun, and Allie Nelson meets each other again—but in the interim, neither forgets the other. When they finally reunite, many obstacles come in the way of their love, because of choices they’ve made and because of the events that were beyond their control. The notebook is one of the most loved novels of Nicholas Sparks. This novel also became a blockbuster movie that even rocketed Ryan Gosling to stardom.

The Longest Ride
There’s a college student Sophie who hangs out with rich guys. Her life changes when she meets this kind young cowboy Luke at the bull-riding event. Meanwhile, a 91-year-old widower Ira Levinson who’s been in a terrible car accident waiting for the help to come tethered to the world only by the visions of his late wife, who died nine years ago. The film adaptation of this novel is a lovely, heartfelt and multigenerational story starring Alan Alda, Britt Robertson, and Scott Eastwood.

Safe Haven
When beautiful Katie comes to North Carolina, a small town of Southport, despite her reluctance to open up about her mysterious past, she receives a warm welcome. Eventually, she starts getting friendly with a few locals, mainly to Alex, widowed store owner and his two children, and her neighbour Jo. But Katie is aware that the love, peace, and acceptance she has found in Southport is temporary unless she can find the courage to face down the demons of her haunted past.

The Last Song
Veronica Miller’s life is shattered with the divorce of her parents. A seventeen-year-old Ronnie is estranged from her father, who moved away from the New York City, and furious with her mother, who decides the best way to heal the old wounds is by Ronnie to be spending the summer at her father’s new house in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. There Ronnie’s father, who is a musician, is enjoying the slow pace of his life in the sleepy town, but it becomes a big adjustment for rebellious Ronnie, who’s in for a summer of heartbreak, new loves, and a deeper understanding of what it actually means to be part of a family.

These were my most favorite books amongst the best Nicholas Sparks novels. I would recommend that you should definitely give them a read.
